Ryse and Shyne Founder, Felicia Kawilarang, revealed that this collection was meaningfully designed over the past year. "This collection is crafted from high-quality materials with four-way stretch and precision cutting. As a result, the garments adapt to the body’s movements without restriction truly feeling like a second skin," Felicia stated during the launch event in South Jakarta on Friday (Sept 26).
She added that the selection of eco-friendly materials was a top priority. Each piece is designed with detailed stitching techniques to ensure comfort during any activity.
According to Felicia, the presence of Ryse and Shyne is expected to encourage women to express themselves more freely while loving their bodies exactly as they are. "Body neutrality teaches us to accept our bodies with compassion, while still appreciating what our bodies are capable of doing. The focus isn't just on appearance, but on function and strength," she explained.
Wellness content creator Andra Alodita also attended the event to share her perspective. She emphasized that clothing can be a form of expression and identity, as well as a way to show love for our bodies. "As an identity, if someone is wearing a certain outfit, we immediately know they’ve just finished Pilates or a workout," Andra remarked.
